Terraces and flat roofs are the surfaces that bear the brunt of rain, snow, sun and the temperature swing between night and day. Water gets into the building through the smallest crack and through junctions such as chamfers, parapets and chimney bases; it comes back as stains on the ceiling, blistering plaster and corroded reinforcement.
The Izowhite terrace system works with complementary products from surface preparation to the top coat. Izowhite Water Cutter, used as the top coat, is UV-resistant and elastic; it can be left exposed after application, needs no covering on top and provides 100% watertightness.

For crack repair: bridges shrinkage cracks and is suitable for areas subject to movement and vibration.

Thermal insulation and waterproofing in one: provides up to 35% thermal insulation thanks to its EPS beads.
Application
Terrace waterproofing step by step
- Dirty, dusty and blistered surfaces are scraped clean.
- Cracks are repaired with Izowhite Powercon.
- Chamfers, parapets, drains and chimney bases are repaired and bridged with geotextile felt.
- A diffusion (ventilation) vent is installed on the terrace to release moisture to the outside.
- The surface is primed with Izowhite Wizalator primer.
- Once the primer has cured, mesh is applied according to the substrate conditions.
- Izowhite Water Cutter is applied in 2 coats with horizontal and vertical strokes, allowing each coat to cure as specified.

Does Water Cutter need tiles or a protective layer on top?
No. Izowhite Water Cutter is UV-resistant; it can be left exposed after application and curing, so no additional covering is needed on top.
Can Water Cutter be thinned with water?
No. The product must never be thinned with water or any other liquid; adding water breaks down its structure and reduces its performance.
What colors are available?
Izowhite Water Cutter is produced in 6 colors: white, transparent, red, blue, green and gray.
